"An attack on one house of worship is an attack on all houses of worship."
When a church burns, a synagogue is vandalized, or a mosque is threatened — people of all faiths stand together. We are united not by the same beliefs, but by the same humanity.
Our Mission
We don't ask people to change their beliefs. We ask them to stand together when it matters most. Religion United transforms shared values into real-world service.
When houses of worship are damaged or destroyed, we organize support from across faith communities to help restore what was lost — not just the building, but the community.
From vandalism to tragedy, we show up. Members of all faiths stand physically and symbolically beside communities under threat — proving solidarity transcends doctrine.
Understanding eliminates fear. We host interfaith events, youth programs, and educational resources to help people see the beautiful values they share across traditions.
Disaster relief, volunteer projects, and community rebuilding efforts that bring together Catholics, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Sikhs, and all people of faith side by side.
Current Projects
On May 6, 2026, a 2-alarm fire tore through the historic Trinity United Church of Christ on Saxonburg Boulevard — a congregation that has served the Dorseyville community for 175 years. The blaze destroyed the sanctuary roof, prayer chapel, and steeple.
The congregation responded with resilience: "Trinity is a church that will respond. We are Trinity strong." Religion United is rallying the Pittsburgh faith community to help them rebuild.
